What if I don't know my ring size?
Don’t worry! We offer complimentary ring sizing in-store and can also send you a ring sizer for online orders. Plus, many of our rings can be resized later.
Are your pieces hypoallergenic?
Most of our fine jewelry is made with metals like gold and platinum, which are hypoallergenic.
Sterling silver is generally safe as well. It’s best to check with your doctor if you are concerned about a particular reaction. If you’re highly sensitive, we can guide you toward the best options.
Can I see your jewelry in person?
Yes! Jewelry is personal — and nothing compares to seeing it sparkle in real life.
Visit our Diamond Hut Jewelers store and try on pieces to see how they look and feel. If you are inquiring about a particular piece on the site, just message us to make sure it’s in stock in-store or to schedule an appointment to view the product in person.
Do you offer men's jewelry too?
Yes! We carry a wide range of men’s rings, chains, bracelets, and watches. Jewelry is for everyone, and our men’s collection proves it.
Can I request a different metal or stone for a design?
Absolutely. Love a ring but prefer rose gold instead of yellow? Want a sapphire center stone instead of a diamond? Many of our designs can be customized to suit your taste.

Do you sell jewelry with gemstones besides diamonds?
Definitely! While diamonds are our specialty (it’s in our name!), we also carry sapphires, emeralds, rubies, birthstones, and more.
We can even customize many designs with the gemstone of your choice — perfect for adding a personal touch.
What materials do you use in your jewelry?
We use only the finest quality materials in our jewelry, including solid gold (14K and 18K, occasionally 10K), platinum, and sterling silver.
Many pieces are set with diamonds and gemstones that are carefully sourced. You won’t find mystery alloys or flimsy plating — if it’s from Diamond Hut, it’s built to last.
Are your diamonds natural or lab-grown?
Both! We carry natural diamonds formed over millions of years in the earth, as well as lab-grown diamonds created in advanced labs.
Both are chemically and physically identical, equally sparkly, and equally “real.” The main difference is origin — and sometimes price.
Many of our customers choose lab-grown because they can get a bigger stone for the same budget.
Are your diamonds conflict-free?
Yes. Every diamond at Diamond Hut is responsibly sourced and complies with the Kimberley Process, which prevents conflict diamonds from entering the supply chain.
We work only with trusted partners so you can shop knowing your sparkle is as ethical as it is beautiful.
Do your diamonds come with certification?
Yes — most of our center stones and many loose diamonds come certified by respected labs like GIA, IGI, or AGS. Certification is like a diamond’s report card — it documents the 4Cs (cut, color, clarity, and carat) so you know exactly what you’re buying.
All diamonds purchased from us will come with a diamond certificate from our store indicating the carat weight and estimated quality.
What's the difference between 14K and 18K gold?
It’s all about purity and durability. 14K gold is 58% pure gold and mixed with other metals, which makes it more resistant to scratches and everyday wear.
18K gold is 75% pure, with a warmer, richer yellow tone, but it can scratch more easily. 18K gold is also softer, which means prongs are more easily worn down and stones can come out more easily than in a harder metal, like 14K.
Both are real gold, so it’s really a matter of look, feel, and lifestyle.

Each product page will tell you whether the item is in stock, made-to-order, or available for pre-order. If you’re on a deadline, reach out and we’ll confirm timing.
Can I include a personal note or gift wrap?
Yes! All Diamond Hut jewelry comes in elegant packaging, and we can add gift wrap or a handwritten note if it’s a gift.
Do I need an account to order?
No — you can checkout as a guest. But creating an account makes tracking orders, saving favorites, and managing returns easier.
How do I place an order online?
Simply add your favorite pieces to your cart, check out, and you’re all set! Our site is secure, and we accept major credit cards, ApplePay, ShopPay, GooglePay, PayPal, and certain financing partners. You’ll receive a confirmation email right away.
Can I place an order by phone or in-store instead of online?

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
You can usually cancel or adjust an order within 24 hours. After that, it may already be in production or shipped. If you need to make a change, reach out right away and we’ll do our best.
Do you offer financing or layaway?
Yes! We partner with financing providers so you can pay over time. We also offer in-store layaway programs at our in-store location — ask us for details.
Can I buy a custom piece online?
Custom designs require a personal touch, so we usually start with a consultation, which can be scheduled using the Custom Jewelry link above. Once we finalize the design, you’ll be able to place your order online or in-store.
Shipping
What shipping address may I use?
Kindly choose your residential address, or the residential address of a trusted family member or friend above the age of 18 (or 21 for USA addresses), as the shipping address for your order.
The reason we require a residential shipping address is to ensure that your package safely arrives at you. As an added precaution, we require a signature upon delivery, which is why we cannot ship your package to a mailbox without an individual available to receive the package.
Can I pick up my order in-store?
Yes, many items can be ordered online and picked up at a Diamond Hut location. It’s fast, convenient, and safe. Just select this option at checkout or let us know by sending a message.
What if my package is delayed or lost?
If your package is delayed, we’ll help track it down. If it’s lost in transit, don’t worry — because it’s insured, we’ll work with the carrier to resolve it.
Can you ship discreetly if it's a surprise gift?
Yes! the package is placed in a sealed box without the words Diamond or Jewelry mentioned on it. We make every effort to make sure that your order is safe during shipping and does not stand out as a valuable package. We do our very best to ensure your order arrives safely to you.
Do you ship internationally?
Unfortunately, we only ship within the United States.
How long does shipping take?
In-stock items usually arrive within 3–7 business days. Custom and made-to-order items can take 2–6 weeks, depending on complexity. We’ll keep you updated along the way.
Is shipping free?
We offer free standard shipping on most U.S. orders over a certain amount (shown at checkout).
Faster shipping options are available for an additional fee. If the shipping fee is a concern for you, send us a message and we can see what we can do to help offset.
Is my order insured during shipping?
Yes, every package is insured until it’s in your hands. We insure your package at no additional cost to you, so that your jewelry is protected in case it is misplaced or stolen. For high-value orders, we require a signature upon delivery to keep your jewelry safe.
Can I track my order?
Absolutely! Once your order ships, we’ll send you a tracking number. You can follow your sparkle’s journey from our door to yours.
Returns & Refunds
What is your return policy?
Most items purchased in-store can be exchanged for another same-price piece or for store credit. We do not offer refunds on items purchased in-store.
For items purchased online, we accept returns of unworn, undamaged items within 30 days of delivery. If the item needs to be exchanged to one of a different size, color, or other dimension, please let us know so we can ship out your exchange item as soon as possible.
Items must be returned with original packaging and certificates. If you’re not sure about a piece, try it at home — you can return it as long as it stays in perfect
condition.
How do I start a return?
Just contact our customer service team and we’ll provide a return authorization and prepaid shipping label (for most U.S. orders).
Do I have to pay for return shipping?
For most domestic orders, return shipping is free. For international orders, customers are responsible for return shipping.
Can I return custom or engraved jewelry?
Custom, personalized, or engraved items are final sale, since they were made just for you. If there’s a manufacturing defect, we’ll fix it under warranty. If you’re wondering if your piece is considered custom-made and whether it is eligible for our Return Policy,

How long will it take to get my refund?
Refunds are usually issued 7–10 business days after we receive and inspect your return. You’ll get an email confirmation once it’s processed.
Can I exchange an item instead of getting a refund?
Yes! If you’d prefer a different size, style, or gemstone, we’ll happily help you exchange.
Do I need the original packaging?
Yes, please return items in original boxes with certificates. This ensures safe transport and helps us process your return quickly.
What if I miss the 30-day return window?
Contact us anyway — we’ll see what we can do. While refunds may not be available, we may be able to offer store credit or repair solutions.
Can I return an item purchased online in-store?
Yes, returns are accepted in-store with your receipt.

Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. All Diamond Hut jewelry comes with a one-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects. We also offer extended protection plans for additional peace of mind.
What does the warranty cover?
The warranty covers issues like loose stones (not caused by impact), faulty clasps, or structural defects. It does not cover normal wear, loss, theft, or damage caused by accidents.
Do you offer repairs?
Absolutely! Whether it’s resizing a ring, replacing a clasp, or tightening a stone, our expert jewelers can handle it. Schedule an appointment to restore your piece to brand new!
How do I care for my jewelry at home?
Use a soft cloth or a gentle jewelry cleaner (avoid harsh chemicals). Store each piece separately to prevent scratches. And always remove jewelry before swimming, showering, or exercising.
Can I bring my jewelry in for cleaning?
Yes! We offer complimentary cleanings at our stores in Jersey City. It’s the best way to keep your sparkle shining like new.
Do you offer resizing?
Yes, many of our rings can be resized. Fees may apply depending on the ring design and how much resizing is needed.
How often should I have my jewelry checked?
We recommend an annual “jewelry check-up.” Our experts can make sure stones are secure and settings are in good shape.
Can I swim or shower with my jewelry on?
We don’t recommend it. Chlorine, saltwater, and soaps can dull the shine of metals and gemstones. It’s best to remove jewelry before swimming or showering.

We’ll start with a consultation (in person or virtual). Once we understand your vision, our designers will create sketches or 3D renderings. After you approve, we’ll craft the piece using high-quality materials. You’ll see your dream become reality.
How long does custom jewelry take?
Typically 4–8 weeks, depending on complexity. If you’re planning a surprise proposal or gift, let us know — we’ll do everything we can to meet your timeline.
Can I use my own gemstone or diamond?
In many cases, yes! We’ll inspect the stone to ensure it’s safe to set. Many customers love creating new pieces from heirloom stones.
Do I need to pay upfront?
We usually require a deposit to begin production, which goes toward the final cost.
Payment plans are available for the balance.
Do you engrave jewelry?
Yes — we can engrave rings, pendants, and more with dates, initials, or meaningful messages.
Can I customize an existing design instead of starting from scratch?
Definitely. Many customers start with one of our designs and tweak it — change the metal, swap the gemstone, or add engraving.
Will I see the design before it's made?
Yes. We’ll provide sketches, CAD renderings, or wax models so you can visualize your piece before we begin final production.
